Coach Grace Lau stays World No. 1, 陳曉藝 stays in the world top ten
Lau's Karate Technical Adviser and world champion Coach Grace Lau Mo Sheung remains world No. 1 in women's individual kata with 9,540 points, continuing to bring glory to Hong Kong karate.
Meanwhile, Lau's Karate student 陳曉藝 (cadet women's individual kata) was selected to represent Hong Kong at the Asian Cadet, Junior and U21 Karate Championships in Jordan, entering the event ranked world No. 4. However, the Karatedo Federation of Hong Kong, China decided to withdraw due to safety concerns in the region, so she could not compete. Missing the event saw her ranking slip slightly to No. 6, but she remains firmly in the world top ten.
